Ep.69: Melissa Colonno, Deliberate Less

THE COST OF A THING IS THE AMOUNT OF WHAT I WILL CALL LIFE THAT IS EXCHANGED FOR IT, IMMEDIATELY, OR IN THE LONG RUN.
— HENRY DAVID THOREAU (quoted on Melissa's website)

Hey friends, so stoked to bring you another guest who speaks on topics related to LESS, ENOUGH, sustainability and climate! You can read ALL the things about her at her website here: https://www.deliberateless.com and also on her LinkedIn bio HERE!

Mom of three, bike commuter, vegan, advocate, activist, wife, rocketar barre instructor…. she wears a LOT of hats but one theme is consistent in her life: she is SUPER intentional ! … hence, “deliberate- less.” She really does make very intentional decisions for herself and her family, and I appreciate the thought, time and research she puts into the things she buys, owns, and feeds her family. I’ve always admired her on her social media account and getting to know her better via our Bike Ambassador team last year.

Here are some awesome links and references she points out:

In my intro, I mention this podcast I recently listened to on the Rich Roll podcast— it both hurt my heart and opened my eyes. I listened to it on a nice long hike.
